Without a doubt, the first and most important part of a rider's outfit is the motorcycle helmet. This topic is much more important and broader than it seems at first glance, which is why we will devote 4 parts to it, answering the most important question of all: what to look for when choosing a motorcycle helmet.

Why is it dangerous and useless to ride with an oversized helmet?

Every time before you choose a motorcycle helmet from us, your head circumference is measured. In our experience, more than half of motorcyclists wear motorcycle helmets that are too big and risk unnecessary injuries. It's a shame, but that's the reality. In this case, it doesn't even help that the helmet you bought cost €500-600. An oversized motorcycle helmet means that you have thrown away at least half of that amount. We are constantly trying to explain to our customers why they shouldn't ride with oversized motorcycle helmets. It's good to see that most of them hear us, but unfortunately not all of them...

Long or short moto boots

in our shopsA veryimportant part of a rider's equipment is their boots. If your boots have good protection, not imitation, they should protect your toes, heel, sole and both sides of the ankle. There are two types of protection: internal protection and internal protection combined with external protection. You can see what the outer protection looks like (it is usually plastic) in photo 1. The inner guard is usually not visible - you need to feel it (see photo 2). Therefore, we always advise you to inspect your shoes before you buy them, feel all the areas mentioned and then make your decision. Many people think that a higher price means more safety. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Therefore, make sure you have a good look at your shoes before you buy them. Take a good look at the places mentioned. For example, the surface of the shoe must be absolutely still when you apply pressure in the toe area.
